AEM has been around for some time, and we figured they were well worth the stop at the 2015 SEMA Show to see what its innovative team had put together for the coming year.

We spoke with Ross Berlanga of AEM, who quickly brought us up to speed on some of the newest products. He explained, “We created this setup for the 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost. This turbo system is extremely fuel-efficient, and coupled with our new cold air intake it provides a 12 horsepower gain over stock. We also have an AEM water/methanol injection and a charge pipe that can be added in conjunction with this, and while we have yet to dyno the car, we expect some serious power increases.”

“Our water/meth kit is a universal, race only kit that is an extremely cost-effective way to add some horsepower for those looking to spend some time on the track. We’d also like to mention our intake which has been customized with a Dremel. This intake tube goes to show that you don’t have to stop customizing with the part alone, much like customers who buy a set of wheels and change the color.”
