The 2015 Mustang has been on the street and in the hands of the buying public for only a few weeks. Thanks to cooperation by Ford, SEMA, and an aftermarket that knows Mustang owners demand parts for their cars, we’re seeing new product releases for these cars on a daily basis. The latest release comes from AIRAID.

While there’s plenty of buzz with the 2015 Mustang GT, we have to admit we’re enticed by the idea of the EcoBoost platform and its potential. AIRAID has wasted no time in developing a cold air intake system that will no doubt improve the performance of the four-cylinder turbo Mustang, and help set the stage for future modifications.

The difference in the air inlet tube between the new AIRAD part and the stock piece is substantial.

Using the same quality materials as their other kits, AIRAID has created a system that should allow the EcoBoost pony to breathe much easier. This cold air intake kit replaces everything in front of the turbo in the induction system. Just looking at the kit, right away we notice a much larger air inlet tube from the new roto-molded air box to the turbo is. The system also replaces the stock air box and filter with upgraded parts.
