The pursuit of power is never ending, and it is often the inspiration of many new products and techniques. But what do you do when you’re an automotive enthusiast and what you want is not available yet? You do a little engineering of your own. That’s exactly what happened when one of its best customers came into All Out Automotive looking to get a JT-Trim Vortech supercharger for his 2015 Ford Mustang GT.

You might be wondering what the big deal is here. Well, Vortech didn’t yet have a kit for the 2015 Ford Mustang, but that wasn’t about to stop these guys. We got a hold of Kyle Bradford at All Out Automotive for the full story. “A set of custom-fabricated brackets were created to adapt a 2012-model year Vortech supercharger kit to fit the brand-new Mustang. Kris (the shop owner) and Nick (car owner) worked with Vortech to get it right and communicated back to them so Vortech can use that information to help develop a kit for the 2015 Mustang.”

Bradford also told us that the guys at Blow By Racing handled doing the custom tune to get the car running. That means that BBR has handled the tunes on the two most powerful 2015 Mustangs that we know of to date.

“One of the hardest parts of the entire job was getting the front bumper off the car so we could get at the front of the engine, that took about two-and-a-half hours. Once we got started, the design, fabrication, testing and tuning took about a week. The car rolled into All Out Automotive with about 65 miles on it to get a Magnaflow exhaust system put on, but had to go over 150 miles on its odometer for the break-in period recommended before we could put on the blower. The difference is amazing, the JT-Trim Vortech supercharger has nearly doubled the car’s power.”

The videos above and below show the first Vortech JT-Trim equipped 2015 Ford Mustang GT. It retains the factory engine, manifolds and cats, air to air intercooler, and is now capable of more than 1,000 hp! On a street tune it cranks out 640+ hp, and all this is with just 11-pounds of boost pressure. Check it out!
