The 2014 Mustang Dream Giveaway sponsored by New Beginning Children’s Homes is a nationwide program designed to provide assistance for family-style long-term residential care with a mission to provide foster children in need a safe and faith based family atmosphere that aids in working through the many life challenges these children face.
Having entered the sweepstakes the past four years proving patience can pay off, Calder who was awarded both a 1969 and a 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. He traveled to Plymouth, Michigan, on February 13, 2015 where he accepted the two-car prize package at an official awards ceremony. Also included in the giveaway, Calder received $50,000 to help in the paying of federal withholdings required for taxes.Playing the bagpipes in his spare time as well as working on his 1987 Monte Carlo, Calder who entered the sweepstakes
