Throughout the years, we’ve covered the annual AmericanMuscle Mustang car show, and this year will be no exception. In its ninth installment, the folks at AM are planning for its biggest turnout yet. The company plans to come prepared this August with a host of new activities for the thousands of Mustangs and spectators which will all converge at Maple Grove Raceway on August 12th.

“Once again, the proceeds from the AmericanMuscle Car Show will be used to benefit Make-A-Wish, with the goal of surpassing last year’s total of $60,200,” AmericanMuscle says. “As always, AM2017 will be packed full of fun events and family friendly activities that will be going from the start to the stop of the show.”

Enthusiasts can expect the classic events like the Burnout Competition and the Rev Contest to return this year, along with the option for general registration or VIP show registration, which will include prime parking in the heart of the show.

As always, 100 percent of the proceeds from the VIP parking will go to the Make-A-Wish foundation. Moreover, this year’s car show features a new offering by way of some behind the scenes time with AM’s host, Justin Dugan, along with the all-new, exclusive, AM2017 Lounge Experience. Opening Ceremony Parade

In this event, enthusiasts who own a convertible Mustang have the opportunity to take a Make-A-Wish child down the drag strip in the opening ceremony parade, and the participant’s name will be announced during the parade to more than 10,000 spectators. The donation fee is $200 for this event, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish foundation. Burnout Competition

For those of you wanting to lay down a big, smoky burnout trail in your Mustang, this one’s for you. This competition is held in the burnout box at the drag strip while more than 10,000 bystanders watch from the grand stands. One award will be presented for the biggest, smokiest burnout, with the winners being based on crowd voting. Spaces are limited, and this competition requires a $100 donation to compete, again with all of the proceeds being donated. Find all of the details here.

Revving Competition

If you’re a fan of setting off car alarms and snapping necks, then the Revving Competition might just be for you. This competition is for the loudest of the loud Mustangs out there, aimed at letting enthusiasts let it all out in a battle of the best sounding exhaust note. The competition will be held in front of the main stage where more than 10,000 onlookers will gather. Again, the winner will be based on a fair-crowd voting system, and one award will be distributed for the loudest exhaust setup. Spaces are limited, and a $100 donation fee is required to enter. AmericanMuscle’s Car Show will take place on Saturday, August 12th, 2o17 at Maple Grove Raceway on 30 Stauffer Park Lane, Mohnton, Pennsylvania.
