Keeping busy at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, we caught up with our friends at Spectre Performance to get the inside scoop for what’s on the horizon moving forward.
“Our focus primarily is the hot rod and musclecar applications,” said Mike Morrow, brand manager at Spectre Performance. “We want to focus in on these two markets for 2016 since it is custom and one-off.”
Spectre’s cold air intake systems are designed specifically to increase horsepower and torque for your specific vehicle application. Manufactured from high-quality polished aluminum or powder-coated cast aluminum intake tubing, complete with a synthetic high-flow air filter that helps to promote more airflow.
There were several new intakes on display at Spectre Performance's display booth.
“We want to support retailers by creating make, model specific products that are entry level and price competitive,” said Morrow. “Our products will be budget conscious and aimed towards first timers who are just getting into the automotive aftermarket.”
Spectre is aiming to make a price point that is both affordable and outperforms other air intake systems. Their air intake systems are made to be a direct bolt-ons replacement, which is quick and easy to install with simple hand tools.
“We’ll be introducing about 25 new applications within the next month,” said Morrow. “Spectre has been on board with K&N for a few years, so getting our products from overseas has caused a few delays.”
With 2016 just around the bend, Spectre is aiming high to make a splash in the automotive aftermarket with their performance air intake systems. To see all of the new products and specific applications, visit the Spectre Performance website to inquire about more.
