It’s no secret that the guys at CJ Pony Parts support our troops. The men and women who have or are currently serving in the U.S. armed forces. But what you might not know is how far their involvement is with organizations like Hope for the Warriors and its affiliates. Take for example Mike and Teresa in the video above.

The hood of this 2006 Ford Mustang GT plays tribute to five fallen U.S. Marines who were all in the same unit.
Mike and Teresa have been involved with Rally North America since 2011 which is another charity organization, though more car enthusiast specific. Last year, both Mike and Teresa teamed up to modify their 2006 Mustang GT with a memorial on its hood, dedicated to the five fallen U.S. Marines. One of five Marines being Mike’s nephew.
The four remaining U.S. soldiers proudly served with Mike’s nephew in the same unit and have all tragically lost their lives in battle. But through the collaborative efforts of Mike and Teresa, as well as Bill Tumas from CJ Pony Parts and the amazing people at Hope for the Warriors, this spirit of these young men will continue to inspire their fellow Marines.

A replacement hood provided by Cervinis will take the place of this Mustang’s current memorial hood.
The hood is being shipped to the recently reactivated battalion 4th Marines unit out of Palm Springs, California and will be hung in the battalion’s headquarters as a symbol of the battalion. It’s incredible to see the amount of support that the guys at CJ Pony Parts, Mike and Teresa, and the Hope for the Warriors organization have provided for the families of these fallen soldiers and many others.
These young men did an amazing thing for their country, and they will never be forgotten for that.
