Take a look at this 36-second video, and check out this 2016 Ford Focus RS with a Livernois Motorsports tuning calibration. This beefed up Focus RS comes pretty close to beating the GT350 in the other lane, although the GT350 does come out on top at the end of the race. The Focus RS starts with a lead, nearly walking away with the win; but the final times ended up being close, at only 0.24-seconds apart. The Focus achieved a time of 12.88-seconds, while the GT350 was able to garner a slightly quicker time at 12.64-seconds.

Getting that close to a GT350 is quite the impressive move on the part of the Focus RS. The GT350 is a car that was made for handling and straight-line performance, while the Focus has more a more practical vibe (although, 350 bhp from a turbocharged engine may not sound all that practical.)

It’s no surprise that the owner of this Focus RS in the video went with the tried-and-true Livernois tuning calibration, as they were one of the first-to-market contenders.
