Tanner Foust is many things to many people, though most of us probably know him as co-host of Top Gear America and one of Ford’s (many) famous and successful racing drivers. Foust, who has been racing pretty much his entire professional life, has learned a bit of the ins-and-outs when it comes to racing, marketing, and everything in between.

That is why we are really excited for a new web series called “Life in the Foustlane”, which gives us a behind-the-scenes look at Ford’s Octane Academy, and essentially what a day in the life of Mr. Foust is.

Tanner Foust lives the kind of life most of us can only dream of, from testing fast new cars to racing on the world’s legendary motorsports tracks. Foust also gets a chance to participate in Ford’s Octane Academy, which is attempting to bring regular people into the world of racing. The series will also go behind the scenes of events like Global RallyCross, drifting, and other places that Foust finds himself.

Sure, we know at its heart this is mostly a marketing show from Ford designed to get us emotionally attached to their crew of young, appealing race car drivers. But, as Ford fans, quite frankly we don’t care; this web series looks awesome, and Tanner Foust is the man.

…looks like it is working already.
