The 2013 and 2014 Shelby GT500 Mustangs are amazing cars. With over 650 hp on tap from the factory, these cars not only compete on the musclecar market but also on the world supercar market as well.

Hardcore performance fans are often never satisfied though. For those looking for a quick and easy upgrade for your 2013 or 2014 GT500, VMP Tuning has the answer. VMP offers pulley upgrades for the supercharged 5.8 liter that can raise boost in increments of one or two pounds. While this may not sound like much of a difference in performance, when VMP coupled the two pound pulley with the rest of their performance package which includes a JLT cold air intake, larger throttle body 90mm idler pulley, and one of their custom tunes, the car made over 700 hp to the rear wheels!

The Track Pack quick change hub allows the pulleys to be quickly changed with basic tools. This system includes a  2.4-inch pulley. Stock diameter and 2.8-inch pulleys are optional for an additional cost. The 2.8-inch pulley actually lowers boost for those possibly running a larger diameter crankshaft pulley, or looking to reduce power if they’re running the car in a traction limited situation, or where less power might be desirable.
